Upgrade to macOS Big Sur

MacOS Mojave was released to the public on September 24th, 2018. “macOS Mojave is a major update that introduces powerful new features for a wide range of Mac users, from consumers to pros,” said Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering. The Mojave installer app will be in your Applications folder, so you can go there and launch it later to upgrade your Mac to the new operating system. Make a bootable installer drive: The quick way.

  • If you’re using macOS Mojave or later, choose Apple menu System Preferences, then click Software Update. If you’re using an earlier macOS, use the App Store instead. Learn how to download and install macOS Big Sur.
  • MacOS Mojave DMG Direct Download Link. The legit way to download or install macOS Mojave provided by Apple is through Mac App Store, where you can get the macOS Mojave install app but it is can be used by other programs for installation. You need addtional settings to make it work.
