MATLAB R2011a through R2014a may trigger a Java exception and exit on startup on OS X 10.10 and 10.11. Once patched, they appear to work normally, but full compatibility is not guaranteed.

Earlier this week, Apple announced the first trio of Mac computers built using Apple's own silicon. The new MacBook Air, 13' MacBook Pro and Mac mini devices all use Apple's new M1 chip. During the event, Apple announced that Adobe, among many other developers, is working on releasing new versions. I supposed to get enable plugin dialog when I click on 'inactive plugin' area, but my click starts Software Update dialog instead. But everything is updated. I have 10.6.8 on my MacBook Air. Java version '1.6.037' Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.037-b06-4) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.12-b01-434, mixed mode).

I keep getting the below alert message. It's when I first load up my computer and then it just keeps popping up every now and then and it gets very annoying. It's just constantly popping up. I have no idea what's causing it, I'm assuming some sort of app running in the background. Is there anyway to get rid of it? Or even finding what's causing it so I can delete the app? I've tried downloading and installing JRE from oracle but does nothing.
